Ashley Carr is an USEA ECP Level III instructor and FEI - level trainer known for her calm, detailed, and effective teaching style. With experience competing at the FEI level in eventing and developing horses and riders from the introductory levels through FEI competition, she brings depth and clarity to every clinic.
Ashley specializes in identifying training gaps and helping horses overcome foundational gaps in their training, overcoming PTSD from previous discomfort-related challenges, focusing on behavior modifcation, thoughtful conditioning, and producing "solid citizen" horses. Influenced by her education with Sandy Hotz and Jan Byyny, her instruction blends classical foundations with modern biomechanics and equine behavior, always prioritizing safety, clarity, and partnership.
We are excited to welcome her to Sunrise on Saturday, January 3rd and on Monday, January 5th.
She is available for lessons 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, and 8:00 am to 4 pm on Monday. Please text Brittany at 443 903 9588 with preferred lesson time, type, and discipline to get on the schedule. Pre payment is REQUIRED if you are trailering in with a $25 trailer in fee paid to Rachel-Howard-61

Kirsi Hussa
A Central Wyoming-based dressage and eventing trainer with decades of experience. With a strong emphasis on horse and rider biomechanics, Kirsi creates positive, productive training that helps riders of all levels improve communication, balance, and effectiveness. Originally from Wyoming, Kirsi began her professional career at 16 and has since built a reputation for her clear, encouraging teaching style and deep knowledge of dressage. This clinic offers riders the opportunity to benefit from her expertise and enthusiasm for the sport.
